OM MANI PADME HUM
Buddhist invocation, remained extremely popular in Tibet. Composed of two Sanskrit words between two magical interjections, it means "Om! the jewel on the lotus, Hum! And no doubt applies to the Buddha, one of the "Three Jewels" of Buddhism and is always represented sitting or standing on a flourishing lotus. Its enunciation in all circumstances and its inscription in all places are considered to have great virtue.
